Description of the genus

Rhizome very small with small brown scales. Stipe dark brown, glabrous. Fronds tufted, 2-or3-pinnatifid, without powder on undersurface, glabrous, membranous, veins free. Sori borne along the veins, exindusiate.

 

Derivation of name:  ano:without, gramma: line; the sori are clustered along the veins

Worldwide: c. 5 species, pantropical and temperate distribution
