Description of the genus

Plants epiphytic or lithophytic. Rhizome short- or long-creeping. Fronds shortly or widely spaced. Lamina narrowly linear in outline, pinnatifid; venation free, simple or forked. sori elliptic at the veins ends.

 

Worldwide: c. 20 species mainly in the neotropics with one extending to Africa.
