Common name

Description

Hairs on lower surface of pinna-midrib thick, spreading, often more than 1 mm long, lacking dark tips; scales with short dark setae usually absent. Appressed short hairs (rudimentary scales) on lower surface of costules rare. Pinna-lobes not narrowly attenuate. Indusia forming broad discs or cups; paraphyses rarely elongate and then rigid.
