Notes

FTEA places P. togoensis as a synonym under P. catoptera var. catoptera. Others (POWO, WFO) see it as an accepted species but this is based on Flora of West Tropical Africa (1959). For now I follow FTEA.

Angola, Benin, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo, Equatorial Guinea (incl. Bioko), Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Sudan and South Sudan, Tanzania , Togo, Uganda.

Growth form

Terrestrial.
